You are bidding on a very rare 1974 Jensen Interceptor III model J, that has been well preserved over its lifetime and always loving owned and maintained. The Jensen Interceptor left behind a legacy of what touring in the grand style should be in a GT world class Automobile. It is the “Gentleman’s express”, with its Italian styling designed by Carrozzeria of Italy, English luxury, and American power, all rolled into one sumptuous grand touring machine. The rare J model version in 1974 was considered the most luxurious Jensen ever built. With a total production in its 10 year lifespan of only 6,408 hand-built Jensen Interceptors ever built. This particular Jensen is a turn-key operation and has been well sorted mechanically with receipt documented $6,500. 12-2007 (more details later) just spent on sorting all the mechanical issues to turn-key everything working properly condition. The Details;

This 1974 Jensen is in good original condition cosmetically and shows well. The silver paint is good driver quality nice throughout and still has a nice patina/shine and has always been garage kept and covered. The chrome/stainless/emblems/trim remain in good shape no issues for a nice driver and are holding up well for their age. The body/chassis is very solid aside from the very bottom portion of the valence of the rear quarter needs small repair at some point (nothing urgent) and drivers floor toe board need a very minor patch otherwise no visible rust issues. The alloy factory wheels are in excellent shape and really set the look of this Jensen apart. The full luxury Connelly leather is original has great patina and charisma and still remains in good original shape. The wool carpets are in nice shape as well. There is beautiful burl wood trimming thru-out the interior. The gauges, switches and controls are amazing and to sit behind the wheel of this Jensen is to truly fall in love with a grand GT touring hand built exotic luxury automobile. The heart of this Jensen is its massive big block Chrysler 440 V-8 that is simply breathtaking to drive with tremendous power to the road thru a A-727 torque flight Automatic transmission and power-lok differential Dana rear end. American muscle at its absolute best! This power train runs out 100% awesome no issues. The mechanical genius who recently completed all the work is well known expert/guru in the area on these English cars. Recently completed at $6,500.on 12-2007 was: complete major tune-up, all new shackle bushings, fuel filler hoses, ball joints, complete steering rack, all new wiring thru-out to make sure everything works as it should with new relays installed right down to the key switch lighting up at night, new engine cooling fans, new solenoids, new transmitter for oil pressure sensor, all gauges are working now, new vacuum switch heater and AC which works excellent, new taillight switch, key-light switch, and so much more. The result is now total turn-key mechanicals that function with everything working as it should. All mechanicals are turn-key excellent thru-out.
