Salut,

La description :

1960 Nash Metropolitan
1500cc engine, 2 door coupe, blue and white (interior and exterior), 3 speed manual transmission on the column.
Runs great, starts right up!
This car was a Dad and Daughter restoration project; new paint, new chrome (bumpers, grill, grill surround), new tires, new upholstery, new carpet, new battery, new radiator, new weather stripping, and added AM/FM stereo with CD player. No oil leaks. Solid body. Odometer shows 16,896 miles, unsure if original or not.
Some questions have come up that I thought I would answer. Lights, blinkers, wipers and heater all work. There is essentially no rust on this car, but the tail pipe shows some surface rust but is still very solid. The muffler is fine.  The floor boards are solid. The brakes have been inspected and are in excellent shape as are the brake lines. Questions related to driving this car hundreds of miles cross country have been asked. I do not see why the car couldn’t be driven long distance but you must remember it is a 50 year old car that was not designed for our current highway traffic. I drove it to Cape Cod (about 150 miles round trip) without any issues. We would keep the car but my daughter is moving to college and won’t be taking the car. The reserve is pretty low compared to the prices I see on these other Mets.
All in all it is a fun little car to drive…it definitely turns heads!
